wow it is amazing that with repetition it is really possible to recognize the charachters, and hearing the audio files really makes it stick!

Looks good – please note that the sound files would not download from the Opera browser – version
    Opera/9.64 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.1.1.
After entering the password and clicking on the “download file” button, absolutely nothing happened.
But on the firefox browser, the files downloaded just fine.

There is a huge need for a book of this type. I am using it in conjunction with James P. Heisig’s “Remembering the Hanzi”

    Many thanks,
    4th year TCM student

Thanks for letting us know. I have only tested downloading with Firefox and Explorer, and only on Windows machines. If anyone else has any problems, let me know. These files will be moved to another location when they are all available, which should make downloading them easier.

Congratulations on an excellent user-friendly book. However, I have one enquiry with regard to an entry on page 26 : the character used for “gu” (3rd tone)/grain appears to be the one usually associated with “gu” (3rd tone)/drum. The same is repeated in the index. Please clarify.

    With many thanks

    Hi Colin,
Thanks for your comment. The most common comment we get is that the book is quite easy to use. Someone posed the same question about p. 26 on Richard Goodman’s blog, and he answered it here: http://classicalmedicine.wordpress.com/free-class/
